The foundation

The Carentan Historical Foundation was created to help fund the return of American veterans to Normandy during various commemorations. The foundation also supports educational projects with a memorial focus, the erection of commemorative monuments, or more generally, projects that preserve the memory of the soldiers who fought in the Utah Beach landing area.
